I retired again in 2023 as a Clinical Associate Professor in the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. I taught graduate courses in local government management, economic development, and government budgeting.

I retired in July 2015 after a 47-year career in public service, first as a schoolteacher in the City of Cleveland, and then for 41 years in city management in Cleveland Heights, then in 2 suburbs of Chicago, and from 1985 to 2015 in Maryland Heights, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri.

Just returned from two weeks vacation and am catching up on emails. We too are looking forward to the reunion. I have not been in Cleveland since the last one.See you next month.
