My dearest friend Carol passed away on May 20th. of this year. We have known eachother since the beginning of 7th. grade (1958-1959) when we met in the front lobby of Woodbury Jr. High School. It was pouring rain. I had missed the bus and Carol, who usually walked home, had decided not to weather the storm. Carol and I visited as we waited for our rides and before she left she invited me to come over sometime after school. That moment was the beginning of a life long friendship. One of my greatest treasures.
Her love, support and insight have sustained me all these years.
Her family and friends celebrated her life on August 25th. in Sedona, AZ. The location was spectacular. The sunrises, sunsets and the almost full moon graced our time as we viewed photos, home movies of Carol and her family, and shared our memories. Her 72nd. birthday was on August 30th.
