Diane McCormick (Neal) married Bob Neal about three months before her death (this was her second marriage). They lived in a penthouse on the 20th floor in Lakewood. Bob Neal (1916-1983) did the radio broadcast (with Jimmy Dudley) for the Cleveland Indians. On 9 July, 1972 a little after 8 PM Diane was watering plants on her balcony. There were some high hanging plants that she watered by standing on a chair. She lost her balance and fell 200 feet to her death. Diane was 26.
