My son Kevin is married to Ellen's daughter Lisa.

We talk about Ellen all the time!

She was fabulous and our grandchildren get to hear all about Grandma Ellen's too short life. We have kept her "alive".

Ellen's mother is still alive and doing great. She just retired a month ago as a bookkeeper at "Shuhei" . The lacal Japanese restaurant.

I remember at our 10th Reunion this beautiful young woman coming over to talk to me.She was wearing a long black velvet dress with a white lace collar. We spoke for only a few minutes or so and then rejoined the crowd.I remember thinking how beautiful 'so and so' had gotten since High School.Well, I live in Georgia and as everyone knows we are a 'little slow'.It wasn't a day or a month or even a year, it was more like 5 or more years later that I realized it wasn't 'so and so'--it was ELLEN! She always had this modest, understated beauty about her.I had one date with Ellen. We went to see the Shaker play production of "Bye,Bye Birdie"in the Spring of our Junior year. After the play we went to a party at Shelly Fromson's house. When I took her home she did the smartess thing of the evening --- she wouldn't kiss me goodnight! What a wise young lady.In the world today so much crassness is sold to us as beauty.Ellen's beauty came from within and showed itself with her warm, gentle smile. I so wanted to see her at the 50th and tell her about my case of 'mistaken identity'. I think she would have laughed. If you want to pay tribute to Ellen's memory, just smile sweetly at someone you love.Several of my friends and teammates have passed on.When I read about them on our website I was saddened but stoic. When I read about Ellen I cried.

When I found out Ellen was terminally ill , I called her up and told her how much she meant to me, and how I always admired her beauty and her smile and wonderful demeanor. To my surprise, she said the same to me. That meant alot to me. Also, I was so impressed by her bravery facing impending death, I know that my majestic opinion of her was justified. Ellen was truly majestic!  She was the epitome of Class.

Miss you Ellen

I fully agree with the prior two postings. Ellen had a quiet, wonderful presence, graced by beauty, and brimming with her basic kindness. May there be many more such people in the world.
