Alice died August 6, 2001. I remember that she was already very sick at the time of our 1994 class reunion. She had a beautiful singing voice and was a vibrant contributor to the Cleveland Jewish community and to music in Cleveland. She is sorely missed.
I remember her fondly. She founded the Minyan havurah at Anshe Chesed-Fairmount Temple, an intimate prayer and study group with Viviane and David Singer, and often hosted monthly luncheons at her house. She had a deep comitment to education, fellowship, and kindness.
